Made for Kent couples.

A walkable downtown, a river running through it and parks all around. Kent gives a wedding film real character.

Around Kent

Weddings around Kent.

Kent mixes college town energy with a lot of green. The Kent State University Hotel puts a grand ballroom and a rooftop terrace right downtown, The Event on Sunnybrook pairs a reception hall with an outdoor pavilion at Sunny Hill Golf, and Roses Run Country Club is just up the road in Stow. For portraits, the gazebo at John Brown Tannery Park and the little waterfall at Heritage Park sit right along the Cuyahoga.

Do you film weddings in Kent?

Yes. Kent is under an hour from my home base, and I film weddings all over Portage and Summit counties. Send your date and venue and I’ll confirm availability.

Anything to know about Kent dates?

Check the Kent State calendar before you choose. Commencement weekends, like May 13 to 16, 2027, can fill hotel rooms around town, so book early if your wedding lands close to one.

Can we add a second filmmaker?

Yes. The Story and The Heirloom both include two filmmakers, and you can add a second filmmaker to The Vow for $800.
